About HEI Offers

What HEI Offers does

HEI Offers helps homeowners see which home equity investment providers could fit them before they apply, and check whether an offer they already have is priced fairly. It covers Point, Hometap, Unlock, Unison, Splitero, and CHEIFS.

Where the numbers come from

• Provider terms come from each provider's published materials, last verified September 23, 2026. Every term and its source is listed on HEI Calculator's provider terms page.
• State availability comes from each provider's own list of states, as of September 23, 2026, collected on HEI Facts.
• Costs are computed with the same model as HEI Calculator and HEI Compare, so the three sites always agree.
• HELOC denial figures come from federal HMDA data, analyzed on HEI Facts.

Results are estimates from published terms. They are not offers, and a provider can decline or change terms after reviewing your home.
